Okay so Iceland was nothing short of fucking amazing. All of the guys on the trip are great people and incredible photographers. I learned a lot and had a great time. Our last night there, we made it to Reykjavik, where I proceeded to have a bit too much to drink. I paid for it when the morning came. Then I flew home, 6 hours, with a massive hangover. Not fun.
I got back to Minneapolis on April 27 and had to spend the night there because there weren't any flights to the Duke City. So I spent the night in some hotel and pretty much feel asleep by 8pm. It was so good to get home on Saturday the 28th. I love my house, my town and most importantly, my wife. I missed Amelia so much.
I shot a total of 51 rolls of film. I processed 14 rolls in the first week I was home and then had to leave for NY to go to Vicki & Earl's wedding, where I was the photographer. I shot another 14 rolls and processed them this week. I think she is going to be truly happy with what I got.
Now, I leave for NYC on May 15th for some family stuff. While in NYC, I plan to hit every gallery I can. Chelsea, here I come. I have a week to play and also plan to see Vicki & Earl as they will be returning from Verana on Monday. I can't wait to see them. Odin too.
In the meantime, I got this lovely camera. Please see the photos below. Basically it was free. Kind of an even swap for something I was not using.
That's it for now. Lots to print before I leave for NYC.
