On my way to Fotofest
I'll be leaving shortly for Houston, for Fotofest and as excited as I am to be engulfed by photography for one solid week, I am also quite sad to be leaving Amelia and Elizabeth for so long. I am not sure I have been away from Elizabeth for so long.
Right now, Elizabeth's new favorite word is "uh-oh" and she runs around the house saying it for no good reason. It's quite funny.
Anyway, I am sure I am going to have fun and the week is going to fly by, but I already look forward to seeing Elizabeth run towards me in the airport when I arrive home in a week.

Hosting the Photoeye Salon Tonight
From the Photoeye Press Release
First Wednesday Photography Salon on March 3, 2010
Artists presenting: College of Santa Fe Students Micaela Butts, Matthew Morrow, Bobby-David Mitchell, Jared Pitts and Cliff Shapiro
First Wednesday's March Salon will be held on March 3rd, 2010, with the opening reception starting at 6:30pm and the salon running from 6:45pm to 9pm. This month's Salon will be guest hosted by Fraction's David Bram and will feature presentations by a few of the College of Santa Fe's Fine Art Photography Program students: Micaela Butts, Matthew Morrow, Bobby-David Mitchell, Jared Pitts and Cliff Shapiro. The program for the evening will begin with each student making brief presentation of his or her work and finish with an open portfolio presentation where the audience can walk around, view the work of each student and interact with the photographers individually. We hope this evening will help introduce the students of CSF and their program to a larger audience and allow those students the opportunity to speak about their work outside of the campus.
For more information, contact Melanie McWhorter, 505-988-5152 x 112, melanie@photoeye.com.

Has Fuji killed Neopan 400 ?
It is starting to look like Fuji Japan has decided to kill off their Neopan 400 black and white film in 120.
This seems really strange considering they are about to release their new medium format film camera, the GF670 in about a month or so.
If you have any insights or further info, please email me.
Also, can anyone translate this page with some sort of authority (babelfish sucks)
